The location was lovely, the views great, the price was unbelievably good value!
Spectacular view from our room. The breakfast was delicious: simple, but perfectly cooked.
As the hotel is a converted old building, you do hear other people moving around (floorboards are noisy). Also, although our room was very big and comfortable, the decor was in need of refreshing (not by much, though: the worst I can say about the room is that the curtains had seen better days and there weren't enough curtain hooks on them which meant that they didn't close properly).
The views, the food and the bath
The professional approach to booking in and conduct to the room. The presentation of the food and choice of local produce. New Management has recently taken over the hotel (1 month ago)
I felt a handyman should check over minor things in the room e.g. the shower holding device had been installed upside down.
The staff were very friendly and polite the whole time, room was spacious, spotless and had character as well as stunning views. The breakfast was perfect and the area beautiful. Would definately stay again
Friendly efficient service. Wireless access was available in our room. The breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable. Good views. There is a bath (not just a shower). Cleanliness was good. We had a good meal in the restaurant price around £25 per person plus £17 for a bottle of wine. Parking was fine.
The room was hot but ok when we openned the window.
lovely location but decor in general needed to be updated. t.v reception poor.but overall enjoyed our stay.
The staff were excellent they made you feel very welcome and the level of service was high.. The food was of a very high quality, well cooked and beautifully served. The room was cosy and had everything that we required.
Our bed was a little too soft for our liking - not a complaint but an observation.
Great location and views, room comfortable and well laid out, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast and evening meals excellent
Warm, efficient welcome, very good service, superb meals. Easy to find.
Excellent dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable and the location quiet. Good value for money.
The teapot in the room had not been emptied and cleaned.
there is a great view of hillsides from the dining room, with newborn lambs frolicking.
the bed was too soft for me
The setting, views and food were excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Staff charming and very helpful, particularly receptionist.Delightful room and great value. Would definitely return.
I've stayed there before on business, so I chose it for this private trip, as I knew what to expect. The room was large and the bed comfortable, the facilities were good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the evening meal we had was very enjoyable.
